Website redesign

For a site that looks dated, loads slowly, or quietly loses the customers it already gets.

You probably need one if any of this is true

It looks like it was built a decade ago, and you have started apologising for it.

It takes several seconds to appear on a phone, so people leave before they read a word.

People land on it and you cannot tell what they do next, because nothing tells them.

The enquiry form goes to an address nobody checks, or it is a bare email link that silently does nothing when the visitor has no mail app set up.

You cannot find it on Google when you search your own business name.

Keeping what already works

A redesign is not automatically a rebuild. If your copy is good, it stays. If your photography is real and yours, it stays. If a page already ranks, it keeps its address so the ranking survives.

What changes is the structure, the speed, and the path to the thing people came for. That is usually where the customers are being lost, not in the colours.

This site is the worked example

The case study on this site is my own. It documents a rebuild honestly, including what was broken beforehand and what got cut. Every claim on it is checkable in your browser's dev tools.

If you would rather start clean, see website design. If the site is fine but slow, speed optimisation is the cheaper fix.
